We hunted high and low for hardware at the Taipei Game Show earlier today when we were there, but being a game show, it was obviously dominated with a strong gaming focus. And it's not the sort you shave with. Even MS Word wants to change my "typo" to Razor instead of Razer. Razer will soon be bringing the Blade onto the market, promoted as the world's first true gaming laptop.

AMD's future products to include ARM cores, also steamrolling toward mobile market
AMD's client roadmap has revealed Hondo, a 4.5W APU with 1-2 low voltage Bobcat cores as well as an on-die DX11 GPU built on a 40nm process. Users of Google Chrome to Phone will be happy to hear that Google have finally updated the application, with the first in nearly a year arriving today including bug fixes and a few improvements.

Apple don't have a TV on the market, where their biggest competitor in the smartphone market, Samsung, sure do have that market with their fist around it, tightly. Qualcomm doing well, Q1 earnings see revenue up 40%, takes $1.4 billion in profit
System-on-a-chip extraordinaire, Qualcomm, have posted their Q1 2012 financial results, with a very nice $4.68 billion in revenue for Q1, a 40-percent increase year-over-year, and 14-percent higher than just last quarter.

The rumor mill is going crazy at the moment with news on Microsoft's upcoming next-generation Xbox console. A games industry source has told Kotaku that the next-generation Xbox will have support for Blu-ray, expanding its disc capacity for games from DVD's 9GB to between 25 and 50GB of data.

The Verge have heard from "people familiar with the matter" that Samsung, who originally had planned to announce its Galaxy S III handset at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month, will now not be doing so.
Samsung have decided to delay the news, and have said there will be news of the Galaxy S III "before summer." Keeping in mind the Galaxy S II was unveiled at Mobile World Congress last year, the Galaxy S III being announced at MWC would've been a nice touch.

Intel acquires RealNetworks patents, hands over $120 million
Intel have pulled out their credit card today and swiped down a purchase of patents from RealNetworks to the tune of $120 million. RealNetworks Inc. in the agreement hand over a large number of patents, which is set to help Intel's portfolio for streaming media on not only smartphones, but laptops and other devices.

Apple's Tim Cook says at Town Hall all Apple employees get $500 off Macs, $250 off iPads, starts in June
Apple had an amazing quarter, and to thank their employees, Tim Cook has said at today's Town Hall meeting that there will be some new "employee benefits". This is just a way Apple want to show their appreciation to those who have worked so hard to continue pushing the company to where it is today.
